STORYTELLING FOR STARTUP FOUNDERS PREPARING TO RAISE

You have the business.
You don't have the story investors remember.

THE PROBLEM FOUNDERS FACE

You have the data. You did the work. You're passionate about what you're building. And still - no funding.

Investors nod, ask polite questions, and don’t follow up. You leave every meeting not knowing what went wrong, because on paper, everything is right.

That gap costs more than a “no.” It costs months — pitching, re-pitching, rewriting the same deck twenty different ways, waiting on emails that don’t come back. And it costs you personally: the sleepless nights, the doubt that creeps in when you start wondering if the problem is you, not the story.

I know that gap in storytelling for startups. I've closed it with founders before.

NIR HINDIE

Startup Storytelling Coach

Nir helps founders find the story that raises the funds they need.

In his work, Nir prepares founders for investment, specializing in narrative development and strategic storytelling.

He brings that expertise across every corner of venture funding — from academia at Harvard Business School, MIT, and IE Business School, to ecosystem supporters like the Harvard Innovation Labs LLX Alumni Program, to private founders raising pre-seed, seed, and Series A rounds.

Different context, same discipline: get the substance right, then build the story that carries it.

He has worked with a range of startups, including Worky ($6M), Spot2 (seed + A round, raised $4.2M and an undisclosed amount), Reworth ($2.8M), Around ($3.8M), Perfekto ($1.1M), uTopicode, Levo, Zendala, Tally Legal, Crema, Glitzi, Logra, Hopr, Delta Protect, and more.

Nir has helped founders in places like:

That’s what I do. As a startup storytelling coach, I help founders articulate their business, build the story underneath it, and get investor-ready. There’s no shortcut here. No template that fits every founder. Just the work of finding your story — and yes, it takes work.

But there is a path to finding your story. Here's what it looks like:

1

Articulate the business components

You’ve lived inside your problem and your solution for years. To you, it’s obvious. To an investor meeting you for the first time, it isn’t. We start by making the invisible visible — laying out the components of your business so clearly that anyone can follow them the first time they hear it.
2

Create alignment

Does your solution actually solve the problem you’re describing? Do your acquisition channels match your customer segment? Does your business model hold up against your unit economics? Most pitches fall apart quietly, in the gaps between pieces that don’t quite line up. We find those gaps and close them.
3

Build the story

Only once the components are clear and aligned do we build the story. Story isn’t decoration — it’s what happens when the substance is already right.
4

Prepare for investor Q&A

Founders rehearse the pitch. Almost none rehearse the questions that follow — and that’s where you’re actually tested. We map the likely pushback and build considered, confident answers before you’re standing in the room.
5

Sharpen communication

This isn’t about teaching you to speak better English. It’s about teaching you to speak with simplicity — so the story lands for anyone listening, not just the people already fluent in your industry.

Let's Work on Your Narrative

”What distinguishes Nir is his talent for seeing beyond metrics to the human story at the heart of each startup. He has an extraordinary gift for helping founders discover and articulate their 'why' - turning their technical innovations into emotional narratives that deeply resonate with both investors and customers. The meticulous thought and preparation he brought to the work with TechCrunch Top20 finalists reflect how much he cares.

It’s about the mindset behind being investment-ready – how founders think about their pitch before they ever open a deck. Nir walks through the same thinking he uses one-on-one with founders: what it actually means to be ready, and why the story only works once that mindset is in place.
